Jesus Christ man, he's not Stewart Donald himself. Just wait and see. It'll happen when it happens.
Not asking for specifics, just an opinion.
He’s been giving updates as have others so curious to know where he thinks things are at.
May as well shut the thread down using your line of thinking and everyone say nothing until an announcement.
Chill.

But they are being taken over.. As some one who has been in business, the time to by is now, before the recovery starts. Ask anyone in business.

Totally agree, it's one of the reasons the top few percent make so much money through recessions. It allows them to buy things on the cheap off those who can't afford the losses and they end up worth way more once the recession is over and they've burdened a but of a loss initially

The fella posts what he can, when he feels able to post it. I'm sure that'll tie in with his source(s) being ok with him doing so.

Give a quick synopsis of what stage you think/know talks are at?
Is COVID going to be a stumbling block in your opinion?
You presumably read Mad Bobs recent updates-what are your thoughts when you read them?
I know things are going on, but at what stage things are at and exactly who is involved I am unsure.
In some ways, after last seasons last minute failure to do the deal with FPP, the current lack of information is hopefully a positive because the owners were saying far too much in the public arena before it was over the line.
You a reporter mate ?

talking on TS - American fund companies to bail out the EFL for monies lost during the crisis, at a glance its possibly MSD holdings with the premier league picking up the interest payments

No one is buying football clubs cos of Corona. Apart from those buying football clubs.

Premier League is totally different. Majority of their money is guaranteed through broadcasting. Actual bums on seats in grounds is a drop in the ocean to them

Lol do you think the lads got nowt better to do, that’s like my English language a level paper:)

Recovery? We haven’t been through the autumn let alone a winter, long way to go till the recovery unfortunately
I don't know how you think the recovery hasn't began.. In mid March I lost considerably on my investments. Enough that could have bought a decent house. It took until last Friday, around 7-8 months and I'm was back to pre Covid. That, thank heavens, is a recovery of the markets in my eyes.
Money ain’t made in the buying or the selling, it’s made in the waiting.
Yes, as with all investments. ;)

Is there anyone who still thinks a sale is actually close?

I wouldn't be surprised to hear "what deal? There was never a deal on the table" spiel out of the club close to the transfer deadline and that we've maxed our budget and can only afford to bring in a 40 year old full back on a 2 week contract with an option to extend by a further week.
