Fair enough, so if Summerbee is Kildare I now have an even lower opinion of him than I originally had.

Excellent news that Muffin has gone - banned or not his posts brought nothing but attention seeking childishness to any thread he landed on.

It's a very valid point, I have listened to the podcast and all sounds good and there is a question as to whether it matters who is making the decisions as long as they are the right ones, but that won't be known for some time.

I'm not saying he has done anything as conspiratorial as that, I'm saying the idea that Donald wouldn't be involved is silly given he's still the owner, legally. So, as you say yourself, they are probably working together for a phase before everything is confirmed. What happens after that, it really is impossible to know - but things are definitely changing.

It could have been cleaner, we could have waited for Donald not to be involved in hiring the new manager, but that would probably have meant sticking with Parkinson/caretaker for longer. Maybe that was the plan, but performances took it out their hands. I think they made the right call on sacking him, timing was right too. So had to work with the structures/ownership/takeover situation they had.

Regarding your third line, someone did make an under-the-radar post about someone Swiss being involved (something about a Swiss watch), before there had been any mention of Dreyfus, but I forget who it was. As for the rest, though....

As for whether you believe if will, its basically an act of faith. I would suggest that the fact we've hired the SD- and I would recommend his podcast interview - means the club is completely changing its approach, either way. If Donald is driving that - then good for him. However, I rather suspect he is not, given how against the grain it would be compared to the last 2 years of basic malpractice.

Important thing is that the approach has changed substantially. Like, if Donald has a head transplant and starts making good decisions, then who cares if he stays?

The para I have highlighted was made up rubbish from people on here. There wasn't an ounce of substance to it but people believed it because faceless forum users made it up for attention.

I have some sympathy with the Poyet situation because it seems the club certainly thought it was likely to happen. However, if I'm being kind there's been a lot of gap filling by the ITKs. And of course some outright made up nonsense.

I am not ITK but this “takeover” not happening anytime soon that’s for certain, as the ITK nuggets have gone very quiet all of a sudden, so my guess is Donald got overly greedy again.

How he has killed this club on every level could have sold to FPP a year ago.

Delusion = Greed.
