Although personally I'd have opened with Roy and Morgan and told them to just see us over the line, get them time in the middle and some confidence, but can't complain at all

I think its almost another point for us now though, massive in terms of getting out of the group

We were class in the field, I think its hard to judge too much as that was as bad as it gets from the Windies

you wouldnt bet against them turning it around mind, tyoe of team they are

Oh aye absolutely, just what I'd have done personally but equally spot on to get the NRR up.

Delighted for him. Was a hell of talent that's come back when thought he'd end up retiring.

Thougt he was woody age mind. So that's plenty of years hopefully we can still get from him.

Only slightly older than me and I'm talking about him like he's over the hill :lol: :lol:

But I don't think this bodes well for the rest of the tournament.

Roy and Malan(where the hell is he) aren't great on slow pitches. Certainly against spin.

Morgan is completely out of form.

Bairstow is wasted not opening.

Our best player in these conditions is watching on TV.

On the flip side I see Jos being top run scorer this tournament. I like our bowling line up and we will have success there.

Mills is a great pick, pleased for him.

T20, international level, you can do this type of picks. The games you play not in world cup years are totally irrelevant like, you can bring players into England environment when it matters if they have performed in franchise cricket. West Indies, useless here, but in general have done this quite well. Not always picking lads who have played in many other squads.

I was thinking do we have any other T20 specialists like this, can't think of any really. I remember Shaun Tait use to rock up the Aussies in big events now and again, despite hardly playing.

Mills is not that old, and there will now be a T20 world cup every 2 years is it? Including next year, big motivation for the lad that he could play a lot of important cricket for England.

I really like the idea of Wood n Mills upfront in this tourney.
