I listen to a lot of podcasts and read a lot of cricket media because I’m a sad bastard

I’m talking about before the tournament, when the debate about him being in the side was ongoing I was amazed about the lack of talk about his bowling. I mean he bowls 85mph+ and can swing the ball. There’s an argument about him being picked as a bowler alone, but it just wasn’t mentioned

Every other side in the world would pick him

They might pick him at 6 as the all rounder he is but yeah I was just surprised that his bowling was just ignored

We have seriously good batsman but one of the main reasons we are so good at white ball cricket since 2015 is that we have 2 genuine genuine allroubders in Ali and Stokes.

Long winded way of saying I agree!
