Sure disappointing but is anyone really surprised we lost?
We've got some talented players but I've no confidence in our leadership and management at a team level.
Our best bowler at that WC was Topley who we've left out today. Our second best bowler was Willey who England have completely snubbed.

He's been ok recently and he can bat as well but I still have nightmares about his ODI WC performances where he had the worst average and the worst economy of all the bowlers.

Bairstow, Ali & Jordan all way past their best. Livingstone and Jacks never international class. Wood gets a free ride too often cos he plays for Durham. Not consistently accurate enough, and when he isn't just get a bat on it and it's a boundary.

Can anyone explain what was behind the decision to bowl Jacks against two of the most dangerous openers in world cricket?
He had only ever bowled 2 overs before in his whole T20I career, the last time being 7 matches ago and we already had 3 experienced spinners in our team.

Poor captaincy/leadership. As great a player as Jos is he drops to many howlers which in a game of fine margins often leave us with a mountain to climb. I'm worried his 'gut instinct' will tell him to open the batting against Oman with Lawrence and Brook!

I don't get it at all. OK Ali only went for 3 runs the first over but surely you have a set plan. Ali then Archer or Wood or whatever.
Oh our spinner has only gone for 3, I'll mix it up and bowl Rashid or even Livingstone. Jacks! How, why? He's 7th choice man, bowling in the power play. Crazy.
Jacks or even Brook should only bowl if 2 other bowlers are having an absolute nightmare or injuries.
