No idea if that’s true or not, obviously I hope it is - but it’s the email I’ve just got from Durham.

Not usually fussed about it myself, but a few lads at work who normally don’t bother with cricket want to go along for a piss-up once we can get back to it - who am I to say no to putting money Durham’s way

Also saw the Blast adverts during the intervals on Channel 4 today - so there’s a clear campaign to get interest going in this.

Good news. Viva la Blast :lol

Got an email from Yorkshire saying only 1000 left for the first 4 home games

Not sure if it was 1000 altogether across all 4 or 1000 for each but still. Had to re read it a few times but that’s definitely what it said

See you have signed Lockie Ferguson for it, that’s a class bit of business
If he comes aye. Been saying we need a top class bowler for this for years but we always end up with a big hitting batsman who flatters to deceive. Wouldn’t say no to one as well mind but not sure the finances will stretch to it

Thinking about it the first four home games will be while there’s still restrictions won’t they? So not quite as impressive as it sounds

Got myself a season ticket for this year's T20, mind. Got to support the club after this last year and I can't wait to be in the Riverside with my mates.

Everyone is just gagging to get out to their local county or club ground I reckon. Can’t wait, just hope it’s all possible

Up to 20th June attendance is restricted to 25% of capacity- that's 4000 at Durham. Approx 6500 at Headingley?
Does membership at Yorkshire include T20 games?

Aye it does. Club still haven’t said anything about what they’re doing about who gets in and who doesn’t yet. But if they’re selling general sale tickets perhaps they think all members will get in if they wish, in which case the number of members must have plummeted

Bought a T20 ST. £70. All the games played over a couple of weeks every few days.

Interesting that during ch4s coverage they are advertising the T20 and not the 100. Can’t remember there being much advertising of the t20 on terrestrial telly in the past

If theres only a 4000 capacity for the Yorkshire T20 game at Ch le St I wonder how the club will gauge how many actual members (c.2900) will turn up? - possibly will have to get a ticket in advance - shades of 1992 when you had the Sunday League fixture at Hartlepool against Essex at a ground with a capacity of 2500 and a membership at the time of over 6000 and you had to obtain a ticket beforehand - hundreds of unaware members were turned away at the gate on the day.

I do think it’s going to be a nightmare for all counties with everyone doing different things. I see Gloucester have started their application process already. Hopefully it will only be for a month or so but if it’s all season I don’t envy anyone sorting it out at any county

They may ask members to acquire a voucher for the game and give them a deadline which in my opinion is a fair compromise
