T20 - Notts Outlaws v Durham 8.6.23. Match Thread

Don’t like to write players off but Glover has looked well short of what’s required. He had a touch of pace but so little control of either line or length.

As Brandon said the loss of 3 high class bowlers is hurting us. Was saying to my best mate last night imagine the damage Sowter could do if we took wickets upfront I think we would of been chasing north of 200 without him.

Must bounce back quickly.
 

Not sure why people are bracketing De leede and Glover together other than our new coach has brought them with him from the Netherlands.
Glover is a South African who didn't make it at provincial level there. He has already had a go at county cricket and got released by Northants ( if your a seam bowler and get released by Northants its unlikely you are going ti make it at Durham with our production line)
De leede is a youngish cricketer from an associate nation who is getting an opportunity at a much higher more demanding level. I look at him a bit like Bushnell last season, he has got something but im not betting my pensionon on him making it. The difference is De Leede is getting a run of games which Bushnell didn't get last season after his useful debut in the championship.
