Best I've found so far, it states that last season prize money is retained until the debt to the FTECB is paid

That explains it better. It's the phrase until Durham repays the debt, which confuses me

Also there is a salary cap for four years which I confused it with

Which means that the cash contributes to paying off the debt. Fair enough, I'm happy with that, the debt reduces and so will future interest payments.

The home quarter should be a pay day for the club though.
And the player bonuses will help them and an improved morale about the place can't hurt.
