He cost them 10.5 mil (11.3 mil euros) so id probably say we need to pay around 6 or 7 which for a 22 year older who is proven to work for us is good value
He cost £10.5m based on potential and is fulfilling that potential so why would they accept around £6-7m........he'll cost at least £10m imo.
I agree with the sentiment but think they'll want more.
ThisKonoplyanka (sp?) is probably Borini's replacement - when they get him, it opens up the opportunity to sign Borini for just cash, without the need of Johnson to go the other way
Why do you think they'll want more mate? They got done by west ham.
won't play / not good enough for liverpoolHe cost £10.5m based on potential and is fulfilling that potential so why would they accept around £6-7m........he'll cost at least £10m imo.
That is not how football works and never has been. Someone would happily pay more than that so why would they accept such a low offer?
But they still got £15M.
Never happen as Johnson is a MASSIVE Everton fan...The presumably unfolded rumour in the Liverpooooooooooooool Echo is that Rodgers might consider giving Borini to us in a swap deal:

...With Johnson going the other way. Would you consider this?

they don't play a formation that suit him
chance to get some money to invest in other areas
Why did they take a hit on Carol and downing?
Poor analysis that mate.....he was signed by Rodgers who seems to know exactly how he wants to play. He's not as good as Suarez or Sturridge but he can also play wide. I agree they might fancy the option of having a few quid to invest elsewhere but Rodgers obviously rates him and I doubt he'll be sold for less than they paid for him......I wouldn't be surprised to see him in Brazil this summer and he may end up with quite a few clubs after his services.[DOUBLEPOST=1391604189][/DOUBLEPOST]
Because Rodgers didn't sign either of them and they are alien to how he plays........Borini definitely fits the style that Rodgers likes to play.
But they still got £15M.
Fair play, Forgot Borini was a rogers signing. Just can't see him displacing Sturridge, Sterling or suarez. I guess if he wants to sit on the bench he should go back.
