The problem for Rashid and Borthwick as leg spinners is will they ever gain the control to be able to play as the the only spinner in a four man attack like Swann does or what Warne did for years for the Aussies.
Both have the potential to be good enough to bat in the top 7 for England and probably their best bet to play for England would be as a second spinner in a five man attack.
But whenever he bowls against international batsmen he seems to do very well, I know ODI cricket is different to first-class but he's still getting top class batsmen out. Not many county pitches are spinner friendly in the slightest.

I think you're partly right, if they bat at 7 then they don't have to take a bowlers slot and so can play 4 quicks with rash or borthwick. I cant see us playing 2 spinners minds even if one of them is batting at 7.
