NEPL definitely having no teas. Not be long before it's all coloured clothing and coloured balls. RIP Cricket.

Yep, no need whatsoever for coloured clothing in local cricket, enough expense as it is without the need for the unnecessary

Medomsle CC as far back as the early 80's in their NEDL days had a policy of bringing tea for two.Informing players what to bring such as pies,cakes,sandwiches etc.Worked well as no outlay other than milk and teabags and no pressure to find helpers or tea ladies

Had this at Tynemouth away a couple of years back, it was horrific. The game finished very early so Tea was taken after the game. I think 4 lads brought some variation of pastry and as I’m a clean lad who likes to have a shower after the game there was fuckall left by the time I went to get something.

Think it was £3-4 for the privilege iirc too.

I’m a massive fan of Tea, please don’t take it away.
