Genuine question, what is it that attracts you to this forum?

I know the odd person has signed up potentially due to an up and coming fixture or a player transfer connected between the two clubs, but you tend to remain as regulars?

I can understand the supposed mags, as they want to know what it's like to be part of a busy forum and be in a community that's related to a big club such as SAFC as they don't have any fans to be honest.

Just the one? There's f***ing hundreds of them, each odder than the last.

It's just an internet forum, and it's not too big. Some decent football discussions (amongst other things).
I suppose some people like to visit their local pub and listen to the same mates every night, whilst others like to venture out a bit and get chatting to other people. It's the same on the net (for me).

I think it's good to mix (sensible) fans, and get a different perspective on things. If you behave decently, you're likely to get decent advice on away trips, understand why certain other fans are doing what they do, and you also get a chance to represent your own set of fans in (hopefully) a decent light.

I was meaning the odd one specifically to a transfer or fixture, or like a Hammer joining because of BSA etc

Some live on here and seem to remain, some with decent reason (tin hat etc). That scouse evertonian seems alright, just random how they come on an SAFC forum daily and was just putting the question out there ;)

Posters from other clubs can add to the forum. @cbwhu and @Friendly Fire I've had bit debate with last or so and for all I've disagreed with lot of what they've said it's been discussed like blokes and none of this petulant toys out pram shite ya get a lot on PF.
Give me them over the hooded bore any day.

Read it for a while (link from a Villa game I think), registered to talk about some issue I knew something about.

I stick around because this forum is genuinely one of the most witty and lively forums out there.

I try to keep my head down and be respectful, never post around a game day when feelings are running raw.

I do not know of another clubs forum that has this many non club fans as regular posters. You lot must be doing something right (or wrong....)

Got some very good friends from Sunderland. Been travelling up for games and doing some north west aways for about 15 years. Developed a genuine interest in Sunderland and this board can be a very good read.

Thanks......Shakespeare's me Da....
