Supporter Update

Does she also scream when the smoke machine goes off at a disco? Repeatedly told of the health risks but these risks only apply to football crowds (as per usual) which is my most people just rebel.

Same applies to the rake of the upper section of the SOL. Life threatening risks to have away fans up there but no associated risks for gigs etc with everyone up and dancing whilst theres all sorts of pyro being fired all over the shop, smoke machines etc as part of the performance.
Not many 6 year olds go clubbing.

Huge difference being we don’t throw flares and coins at opposition supporters.
No we throw them in our own supporters and towards our own players .... Winchester (I think it was)got hit at Wigan last year. No difference at all.....neither is acceptable.

I thought I read on here there was a bit of a back and forth of that at the Riverside. And Bolton last season. Though I would hazard a bet that at least something gets tossed somewhere at every match and we don't hear about it.

Aye it’s class when my mate’s 6 year old daughter screams in fear when someone lets one off next to her like. Proper amazing atmosphere that.
Well said mate. Anyone’s young children which, let’s face it are the next generation of supporters, should be set an example by those who k ow better. Almost dismissing it with a smirk on their faces, as some on here might do, is not at all funny. I, for one, would gladly report anyone if I was nearby.

Why as a country do we struggle with pyro / flares so much when loads of European countries create displays on a weekly basis with them? I don’t agree with throwing them anywhere but don’t mind them in the stands, think they look decent. Just my opinion like.

Organised displays are entirely different as they have been planned, have guaranteed safety facilities to hand and are certified safe.
