Bought a couple of Easter eggs earlier from Sainsbury's, then forgot about them and left them in the boot, and of course they've melted.

Would it be extremely rude to ask customer services if there's any way I can exchange them, and what are the chances of success? Should I just forget that and buy some more?

I was in sainsburys last week and the offer on their Easter eggs was 80p each or 2 for £2. I took a photo but don't know how to upload it on here off my phone..

Forget it mate, I work in one and the refund policy covers about 80 different scenarios from simply picking up the wrong product to mould to bad odour and so on. I'd be extremely surprised if the management of any store allowed you to exchange them, you've been fairly negligent and they will inevitably be miserable little kernts.

Thanks, I thought as much but it's always best to ask a few people first. Completely my fault, what a div.

One of them appears to be okay as it happens; it was in a foil wrapper and it didn't really lose its shape. The other (expensive) one wasn't, and it's all over the place :-(

It would be wrong to ask for your money back. However you could melt the chocolate and refashion it.

Is that type of fuckin ya head with figures shenanigans legal? I know its simple maths but owld grannies and my Mrs will always fall for it.
