Does anybody have this on the switch? I am struggling to resist the urge to buy it because it looks so much fun but I have a huge backlog of games and need to stop spending so much on them.

It is getting great reviews but I can't get my head around it. I'm not sure where me or the kids would find the motivation to play it without an end game or that feeling that your progressing with it.

Bought this last weekend but only managed to play some today. 2D Mario is still class.

I know this in effect sounds daft, but me too. Endless games just don't motivate me. There's no sense of completion.

I get what you mean and admittedly the story mode is basic like all Mario games are but some of the levels are great. I haven't tried making my own yet.

I've not got the inclination to make my own levels, but I have found a couple of youtubers that stream the best levels & it's strangely addictive viewing.
