Good.. the sooner they fuck off on the gravy boat the better. You only have to look at Man City's owners to see what the end game is.
Buy clubs in the various regions around the globe to give you a foothold in the regions, throw at bit of money at them to get them higher up / more successful than they have been, thus making their fans easier to manipulate, while doing this the State get into bed with FIFA and throw money at them for World Club Championships / World Cups, whilst paying massive wages to players for their league.
Before you know it it will be "Ohh look Saudi have sponsored the FIFA World Club Championship as well as the Men and Womens World Cups"
The traditional "Big Clubs" wont want to miss out on the mental amount of money so will integrate with them rather than run the risk of missing out and before you know it theres a Global Super League with the 80% of the best players in the world playing for £1 million plus a week to sold out stadiums in the Far East, Middle East, America etc
That’s about how I see it. The ‘big clubs’ are welcome to it all.You only have to look at Man City's owners to see what the end game is.

A logical next step. With all the semi & finals played in the locations of the highest bidders….namely Saudi Arabia.i would hope by that point we are a premer league club again, because one all the best players start going to the super league, however i doubt it will end up like that, honestly they don't even need a super league all they need to do is buy the world club cup, and turn that into a champions league style, competition.
So far in golf
They’re waiting on the valuation of this new entity and will put capital in based on the valuation
They’re ploughing billions into golf
They could easily put 10s of billions into football
exactly, so all this can't wait till they fuck off, is rubbish, they don't need to.That’s about how I see it. The ‘big clubs’ are welcome to it all.

Can’t just blame the Saudis / Quataris either. There’s a reason the Americans are investing so heavily too. This is their dream scenario as much as anyone’s.
China and Russia are very recent examples of how this will goThis huge money pit of vision 2030 plan is to move Saudi away from oil reliance, and encourage tourism etc.
Will paying Messi and the likes hundreds of millions per year really help tourism that much? The locals will have a great time but I can't see any significant return on investment.
"Soft power" will be the answer but having over the hill superstars playing for their internationally irrelevant local sides, who will become more irrelevant when Ronaldo and Co leave, and even potentially hosting a world cup won't improve tourism, and won't improve their image to the point where it becomes a serious destination .
i am surpised China hasn't bought a football club yet, in england.China and Russia are very recent examples of how this will go
They aren’t trying to enhance their domestic league necessarily, they are positioning the buy the sport, or chunks of it. That is the “I” in PIF. Their investment will return a profit (cash and sports washing)China and Russia are very recent examples of how this will go
They do it differently. They buy infrastructure.i am surpised China hasn't bought a football club yet, in england.
What if they just want out of the league cup, and replace that with super league fixtures.ESL will happen at somepoint, it's inevitable and I hope it does cause I can then ignore most of the so called 'big' clubs.
Only problem is I don't want it to be a halfway situation where they can still play in the English league, just fuck off altogether and see how your 'super' league fairs.
If they stay they will continue to moan about how many games they have to play in leagues they have personally set up themselves because they know no bounds when it comes to hypocrisy. Will want out of the domestic cups but will want the Premier League money on top of the ESL money.
Whether Saudi can just buy that for them is another issue and I'm guessing the can and will want to as it's probably they only way they can legitimise the Saudi teams.
Yeah I’d like to see them start again in the conference north. TwatsI hope it happens me. Send them all to the super league, mags included. They’ll be kicked out of the prem and it’ll be like the championship is now, competitive. It’ll be big for a couple years then no one will be interested in Real Madrid vs spurs in Jeddah for the 4th time in 2 seasons
They’ll come back and the FA will smash them with embargoes etc when they join.
Fuck em
Possibly will but then it fucks off one of the cups that teams not in the top echelons of the Prem can possibly win on a extremely good year. What if they just want out of the league cup, and replace that with super league fixtures.
The hubris of it all is hilarious. Saudi envisioned as a tourist destination while you can get imprisoned for criticising the regime on social mediaThis huge money pit of vision 2030 plan is to move Saudi away from oil reliance, and encourage tourism etc.

Agree with this completely.Sooner they form a super league and fuck off out of the domestic league the better.
The Premier League is currently rather pointless and odious in the way its contested and will only worsen.
I've no interest in a global League between fans I'll almost never meet. I want to be champions of England amongst fans of various clubs I will see and meet and know. The super league is a vacuous future that will lack ties and meaning. They are welcome to it.
So accept our place and remain in the football league, as long as we win a few games that is.Agree with this completely.
When the idea was first bandied about, I thought it was a ludicrous idea like many others and wanted to see it fail. Now however, I’d sooner see a huge shakeup of things and allow us to be in a far more competitive league which will see us challenging on a more even playing field.
Though we all want to see the club progress and ultimately get in the Premier League ASAP, I can guarantee the novelty will soon wear off when we are having to spend upwards of £100m+ on average footballers just to stay afloat.
how to do you imagine them, giving you, the game back ?Bring it on.
Let's have our game back.
Let the greedy twats fuck off to some super saudi funded league, play boring games week after week, go play a few games in Saudi in a dead stadium, then have their photos taken with the worst people on the planet, go to China for a few games to build the brand.
