But not as it currently stands ?Not really, just a full revamp. I’d like to see us in the top division, especially if it meant the billionaire top tier clubs f*cked off for further greed in the Super League.

I’ve no interest in Sky’s so called big 6, it’s an utter nonsense and does the rest of the clubs a massive disservice. Before Sky and before the PL there was always the country’s big clubs - Liverpool, Man Utd and Arsenal being the main ones. To say it would make no difference if they left is utter rubbish. These are the clubs who traditionally command the biggest interest, biggest pull for opposition fans, biggest gates. These are the clubs who lower league clubs dream of drawing in the cup competitions, who opposition fans look for when the fixtures come out. What do you think the first claim to be made against the first champions after the big clubs were to leave? The PL would lose its value as a competition were they to go.Jesus. You must work for sky.
Football existed before sky invented “the big 6”
Fingers crossed the extremely rich fu k off. Let’s reformat the leagues in favour of all supporters without killing the competitionAfter the takeover of golf by PIF… the next thing will surely be for the Saudis to form a Super League. Of course, the composition will include those that have already signed up and will include others (certain clubs with, let’s say, Saudi interest).
It isn’t a huge leap of imagination to see the likes of Real and Barcelona pushing even harder for this, given their financial situation. Moreover, what better way to introduce Saudi domestic teams into this Super League.
I will give estimate a timeframe of around 2 years. The money is just too much to turn a blind eye to. As depressing as that is, I think it is game over - and I don’t even think that a regulator will be able to prevent it. Not that I think the useless politicians could be good enough to do something sensible.
World Cup in Saudi will be a stick on in 2030 too.
What sport next… snooker, F1, tennis? That’s a wider discussion, but after yesterday, I think there has been a seismic shift in the landscape, and the rest is unstoppable. And I’m afraid for this poster, incredibly depressing for many reasons.

Games ruined but at least this will put the scum back in their box
We will be sold to Saudis mate. Did you notbnotice a random Saudi friendly last year. After the takeover of golf by PIF… the next thing will surely be for the Saudis to form a Super League. Most definitely thisHope so. Take all the things I hate about modern football with them
Agreed have a proper league again where various teams could win. And when they come running back when it blows up in their face make them start at the bottom.Hope so. Take all the things I hate about modern football with them
I’d say that was pretty obvious! They also gave the idiot Musk the money to buy twitter, even though he’s supposed to be the richest man in the worldThey’ll own all sport before long
They might altar their mindsetHow much fun will English football become once the greedy clubs all leave to eventually die on the alter of corporate greed.
So what! We would be in a league that would exist without greed and one we might have a chance of winning. Let them bugger off to a super league and play amongst themselves every week, I sayI’ve no interest in Sky’s so called big 6, it’s an utter nonsense and does the rest of the clubs a massive disservice. Very well putSooner they form a super league and fuck off out of the domestic league the better.
The Premier League is currently rather pointless and odious in the way its contested and will only worsen.
I've no interest in a global League between fans I'll almost never meet. I want to be champions of England amongst fans of various clubs I will see and meet and know. The super league is a vacuous future that will lack ties and meaning. They are welcome to it.
“Sport” by its very definition is about competition thoughThey’ll own all sport before long
Wearside combination leagueYeah I’d like to see them start again in the conference north. Twats
I think you are right - through JP MorganSeem to remember reading that there was Saudi money involved in the original Super League idea. No doubt that'll get revisited again after the golf merger this week.
