Their last five games were less than 25k, their last three less than 19k and the last game was 16,694. Their highest was 37,643 and their average for that season was 26,256.
71/72 also had wildly fluctuating attendances, going from 26,905 to 48,110 and back to 32,806 in three successive games. Three attendances over 40k, namely 48,110, 45,953 and 45,714, all later in the season when they were doing well in the league. Their lowest this season was 23,004 and the average ended up being 31,552.
