Someone on here weeks ago was saying it was absurd to be worried about relegation and that we'd been safe for ages

So keep the same lot, except Clarke, and you expect them to have a better season next year? We’ll be in exactly the same position. Its the basic stuff we can’t get right and that’s down to those players you want to see start next season?
Aye I felt the same to be honest. It was proved right. We had enough in the bag so needed next to nothing to survive. 6 points is a lot at the bottom of the league, by the way.Someone on here weeks ago was saying it was absurd to be worried about relegation and that we'd been safe for ages
They should. But have a feeling they'll take a month off and do more reflectingWhere did I say that? Up to Jan we had a decent idea of a team. We know that most of them can play good football in the right circumstances. Midfield is a mess but could be corrected with a purchase and a system of play. Central attack is the same - again we need the same solution. We have a decent back five if they had a reasonable midfield in front of them. Find someone to play up front and I think we could score goals for fun. There's people on here want to lose the owner, the DOF, the managerial hierarchy and every player in the squad except for one or two of their favourites. The ones who scream the loudest don't necessarily have a clue on how to fix things.
We have to improve on this season but it doesn't mean we have to start from scratch.
I just hope the club have already sorted out a new manager and we can plan for the next season starting tomorrow.
You said or certainly implied we don’t throw them out. What you’ve just described above will need a major overhaul of the playing side. As you say midfield and central attack ‘a mess’. Defence only good with a decent midfield. How do we do that retaining most of the current set up.Where did I say that? Up to Jan we had a decent idea of a team. And to think I've renewed!!!...Again!!!An absolutely gutless display. Devoid of leadership from the boardroom down to the pitch. Sleepwalking towards relegation unless something changes in the summer. I’m not convinced.
Looking forward to a summer without SAFC.
It was absurd to think we'd go down , we had enough points by March. We were never going down and we didn't by quite some margin really.Someone on here weeks ago was saying it was absurd to be worried about relegation and that we'd been safe for ages
Me too mate. Actually stayed for the lap of honour / appreciation, but felt a bit embarrassed. And to think I've renewed!!!...Again!!!![]()
That's what he wants. To separate himself from his brother.I was watching on I follow and it had the Sunderland commentators on which I thought were sound....but why do they call everyone by their surname apart from Bellingham who they call Jobe?
They should. But have a feeling they'll take a month off and do more reflecting
March was only 5 weeks ago - it might have been a bit earlier and it was a bit complicated to compute all the permutationsIt was absurd to think we'd go down , we had enough points by March. We were never going down and we didn't by quite some margin really.
This is what's funny as fuck - cos I'm supportive on a forum generally of KLD and optimistic for next season and his reign and you're not, it will be my fault if we get relegated, when in fact in real life you will have done absolutely nothing different to me to effect the ownership. If it was left to fans like you, we’d happy clap down to the conference anarl.
No idea, I've been out. I've given up for now, much like the owners.March was only 5 weeks ago - it might have been a bit earlier and it was a bit complicated to compute all the permutations
Did we unveil the new manager at full-time?
