We were 6th in January.

Since then we have taken 16 points from 20 league games.

Anyone who thinks we’re close with this squad is miles off. We will need to invest millions to be credible promotion candidates. We have so many players that aren’t good enough to affect games in this league.
At this level the squad of players isn’t that bad. We are just badly coached and hugely deficient in a couple of key areas. A quality coach and good centre forward would make a massive difference but I expect neither

Dodds needs to do the right thing and resign in his post match interview and apologise to the fans
From what I read before the game he is going nowhere. Hard to believe that is true but he thinks he will be back to coaching next season. Hope the new guy has already saif Dodds and Proctor can get out of the club

Yesterdays press conference and todays team and tactics lead me to believe that Dodds has been told to pack his bags. He’s just went out of his way to annoy everyone.
One of two scenarios: he’s either mouthing off on his way out, or he knows he can say whatever he likes and won’t be sacked because those above agree with him.

Throwing the players under the bus was awful management, then we wonder why they don’t look like they can be bothered today.

Desperately trying to find something positive after our abysmal second half of the season and this it:

While it would obviously have been better to keep up the momentum from last 2 seasons at least we can identify where our failings are and can (hopefully) put them right.

IF Dodds had managed 2 more wins it would have masked how bad we and he have been. Surely now his standing as a coach has evaporated as part of that role should be to step up when needed which he's shown that he's clearly incapable of.

Therefore he should be the first out of the door. We need to allow our new head coach to bring in some of his own people and not insist on saddling him with those who have already been found out as not up to the job.

Congrats to Sheff Wed for surviving, Ipswich for promotion to the premier league and unlucky Birmingham getting relegated, really wanted Blackburn down and for a moment in the 2nd half they were until they scored at Leicester.
Birmingham werent unlucky....they dug their own grave. How ironic that Eustace has saved Blackburn because they won at Leicester and thumped us. Blackburn and particularly Smodiczs deserve to stop up
