At Wembley, always wondered how that would go with regard to the 2 sets of fans ?? Do you think the fans could mix and be civil with each other or would it be absolute carnage in the capital ??

would be relocated at the request of northumbrias finest to north korea
in reality utter carnage i really honestly think the game would be unplayable anywhere neutral
im sure the FA/polis would engineer it to never ever happen
It nearly happened in the mid 1950's - 54/55 IIRC. We lost in the SF to Man City and they went on to win the cup.
Doesn't even bare thinking about
The whole strip of the country leading from the North East to Wembley and then right around Wembley would resemble a warzone![]()
It will have happened, probably a few times. We broke the world transfer regularly throughout our history and in the 1920's I think we broke it twice. Of course we had the BOE days in the 50's and therefore Shack, Ford and AN Other would have played.MBH, you're a one for knowing history- I was wondering a few days ago, if Gordon, Bent and Gyan start, we will have our top 3 record signings on the pitch at the same time- do you know if that has happened before, must have been a long time ago if it has (the sad things you think about when you're walking to get your lunch!)
There would be trouble at Central before anyone even left

With the nature of transfer fees, I'm sure it's happend a few times.
In fact, would Flo, Schwartz and Hutchinson would have been our top three signings at one point?
