*~*~* Sunderland v Blackburn match thread *~*~*

He just needs the freedom to be able to roam forward imo. Not his fault we have no one else to play as a deeper centre mid but doesn’t look his game at all. Far more comfortable making runs in behind and getting on the ball high up the pitch.

Some of the positions he got into on Saturday were excellent. Especially given his age and experience.

Lucky to be not losing by at least 2 goals but kept going, TM needs to tell the lads to switch on second half and play good football like we know we can as that first 35 minutes was very poor.

When was the last time we done a smash n grab on someone ha!

More goals in this like, but we showed a bit of fight towards the back end of the half there. Need to just keep niggling at these as one or two like ripe for a red.

I'd still take Huggins off. The lad is just getting caught out and Blackburn seem to have planned for it.

Apart from Huggins (who has looked miles off it) none of our players have had bad games individually, it's just our system left us massively exposed. Blackburn were also good, have to give them credit. We ended the half well though, hopefully tweak it a bit at half time and we can get a result.

I'm delighted to see that from Ba. He was great in the last half hour at Loftus Road and is just picking up from where he left off.

One of those players who does everything with a massive smile on his face too. I can't help smile when I'm watching him because you can just see him enjoying it so much.
He has sticky legs. He seems to come away from 50/50s or ricochets with the ball
