Dont mind us taking chances on players like this, the problem is we have a habit of having to rely on them with our piss weak squad recently.

This is what I like to see  He may be a gem and i'm sure Bruce is more qualified to judge a player then anyone on here, 800k is a bargain.

Although don't expect to see him much in his first year like, and don't expect him to be exactly like Ji Sung Park

Surely a David Miliband scouting adventure. Will undoubtedly raise our profile in the Far East and generate a revenue stream from there.

However it also means the team will have to carry him if he's shite, as the Far East interest will dwindle if we dont play him on a regular basis.

Expect to see him come on as a sub whenever/if we go 4 up.

Good luck getting a game Dong :-D

Have you seen him play by any chance

Phil Babb was on talksport tonight. He has just passed his agents exams this week and is about to sign a deal to represent four Koreans with the view to getting them teams in England. His agencies called Realta.
Quinny getting first dibs?

Not greatly impressed from the vid, though he's obviously quite useful with his head.
However he's only costing washers and he surely can't be any worse than the S.Americans we brought in, so we shall see.
Maybe need to send him up the top end of Weardale and feed him on nothing but raw goatmeat for a few weeks to get him toughened up for the Prem.

The interest from Korea alone is worth the fee. Other clubs make thissort of signing and i'm glad we are too now, finally.

I can't see any problem with it myself. If he gets 5 goals next season he will have done well.

Bendtner and Gyan should be our main partnership with Ngog and Dong 2nd pairing.

Ngog could develop well with us I hope.

nice one..
I have wanted us to sign a decent Asian player for years now. Not being funny or owt, but our international appeal will improve 10 fold and merchandising etc. The Asians are very passionate about the game and about their own... Its a good move by SAFC and hopefully he delivers on the pitch anarl
