I refuse to believe that SMB posters would deliberately make up false stories.

More likely @Sidewinder2 mates got wind of Netflix on the verge of not picking up Season 2 of STID.
But then the MSD news broke, and Netflix changed their minds and will pick up Seasons 2 and 3.

Though it was done on spec, expecting to be picked up. Seems like Netflix wavered.

Showing in February (instead of December) is the clue to all this IMHO.

The people who made it aren't going to film it, incurring all costs etc unless they'd got the green light for it.

I think as Sunderland fans it was just painful. I personally couldn’t finish it.

As a Sunderland fan I was watching it through my fingers at times, but it was very much access all areas. Fans of other clubs I know all thought it was brilliant. On the whole I also thought it was very good, if a difficult watch

Spoke to some Rotherham fans after match , they watched it and it totally changed there view of us , the media portray us as wankers but they thought it was excellent , canny lads , loved the ground too

I loved it. I do hope they took the feedback on board, the editing of games needed improvement i.e. several games were often rolled into one segment, when the footage should have been from one game and one game only.

I know what you mean , as a Sunderland fan I found it thoroughly depressing to watch.
