The Man City performance was in my opinion the best display I have ever seen by a visiting team at Sunderland . Thye were brilliant and

The first game that I remember going to must have been around 1971/2 when the reserves were playing against the first team at Roker Park. My cousin was playing so we were allowed in but I think that it may well have been behind closed doors. I honestly can't remember my first real game but it was sometime not long later.

I can't recall exactly. It was a mid-week game against either Coventry or Port Vale at Roker and it finished nowts each.

I fell asleep.
