People are having a laugh saying he'd be a shit signing. A 6 foot 4 inch cb with champions league and international experience for 800k?

When wankers like burnley are charging 7mill for f***ing Rodriguez, that's a bargain. Tbh, this signing hits the spot for me, bit of culture at the back, just what we need.

This place makes me grin , we bought JOS from one of the biggest and most successful teams in Europe if not the world and how ordinary has he been? If we do bring the lad in watch him them form your judgement ( or Gan on like a bairn saying "told you so") Wonder if Mig knows about him and has had a word?
Ordinarily, our most dependable stopper cher.

Seems like a lot of people are already writing him of because he only plays in Belgium. Well, he was the Captian of Anderlecht for the last seasons.
He lost his place in the team because the new coach wants more offensive orientated defenders.
Juhasz is basicly the guy who replaced Kompany with Anderlecht. He's also the Captian of the Hungarian national team.

And the last guy you guys took out of Belgium, just played for a mediocre team, that now even plays in the 2nd division

Aye the scouts have served us well with obscure signings from lower quality leagues in recent years. Been success story after success story.

Didn't do badly with Mignolet and McClean, like.

If I see people saying that Juhasz isn't even good enough for the Belgian league, I can understand the feeling, but I really have to make a few remarks.

First of all : Juhasz was a first 11 player in the past years and very rarely missed a match for Anderlecht, it's just that he can't get along with the new team manager for some reason.

Another fact : Jelavic wasn't good enough for a mid-table team (Zulte-Waregem) in the Belgian league, and Demba Ba was a little more than average for Mouscron. It didn't stop them from being successful in the PL, I guess.

I've seen a lot of Juhasz matches for Anderlecht and he's a solid defender
Don't pay 2,500,000£ for him, but I expect the fee to be 800,000£ max, and for that money you will have a sobre, decent defender with good heading abilities.
No more, but no less either. I would expect him to become a first 11 player.

Sounds like a good player and he genuinely can't do worse than the players we've played in central defence recently.

Is he as slow as other posters on here have suggested?

Cheers for that mate, it's good to have an opinion from someone who has actually seen him play. Hopefully he becomes as integral to our first team as the last lad we signed from the Belgian League. :-D
