Shame it's not in Roker Park as we enjoyed it along the seafront. Will go to Mowbray and see what it's like though.

Make sure you have protection with you Becs when wandering round Mowbray park after dark.
Hopefully they have security along the route.

I was thinking last week that it would not be a daft idea for Sunderland to get together with Durham and expand "Lumiere" to include Sunderland. Maybe even in time have a smaller displays in towns like Chester Le Street or Bishop and make it a huge festival

But there is no way that Durham County Council would share its event with Sunderland. It probably wouldnt do anything outside Durham City
