Sunderland and Alvarez

Hadnt realised we were suing other staff as well, and that Alvarez was still suing us as well. Utterly pointless court case and a dangerous president to set

Tbf this came around the time FPP were interested and people were saying maybe their top Lawers had looked into it during DD and thought there was a case they could win.
It maybe just timing its come round now but maybe its something to coincide with the american/s linked again, where Donald didn't fancy the court case but they did. Clutching at straws mind but it's a thought 😂

We must be the only club on the planet stupid enough to agree to a clause that we had to buy a player if we avoided relegation regardless of how shit he might turn out to be.

The clowns running the club now are an utter joke but Short and his mob weren't much better.
There are plenty of loan contracts that have obligations to but to be fair. The stupidity was not honouring it and thinking there would be no repercussions

Think most of the deals with obligations at least kick in after a certain number of appearances. Remember quite a few journalists at the time saying that the obligation we had in place was very unusual, certainly for English clubs anyway.
