Two women at work reckon sweetcorn is a must and think it's odd if you don't. Anyone else partake in such hideousness? First I've heard of it tbh.

Only if it's part of sweetcorn and bacon stuffing. Generally, sweetcorn is a casual midweek veg though.

As an aside, I always find peas an odd accompaniment to a Sunday roast.

I've had chicken on a Sunday dinner on several occasions and I thought it was fine tbh. Not my preferred choice of meat mind and it's certainly not up there with hoying sweetcorn on for insanity levels.
agree, sweetcorn has nee place anywhere near a sunday dinner. But a Sunday dinner in order of meat is beef, lamb, pork, sausage, beefburger, bacon, dog, chicken.

My Mam sometimes puts corn on the cob on Sunday dinners which I think is really odd.
