Sunday dinner

  1. Any day you fancy one.

With added broccoli is a winner.

I wouldn't put sweet corn on myself, but if it was served that way, I'd still eat the fucker. I often have random mixes of foods at graft when I can't decide what I want. Had lasagna on one side, and Thai red curry on the other a few weeks ago.

There are certain things I try out in the run up to christmas like.

Did a brussel sprout mash with chestnuts and bacon lardons this year. Took a few tries to get it right but it was fucking lush on the day.

There is no such thing as Durham salad, it is just a bastardisation of Yorkshire salad.

Wouldn't make it myself, if it was on offer I'd have some though. Sweetcorn is nice.

    So are crisps.

The gravy would negatively affect crisps.

And the sweetcorn would negatively affect the Sunday dinner.

I think what we have here is a subtle attempt at admitting whoever knocks your Sunday dinner up puts sweetcorn on it. The filthy filthy bastards.

Tend to have that with steak but I'd eat the hewer with beans on toast if it was readily available.

Why would anyone have sweetcorn on a traditional Sunday lunch?

No idea. Ask some of the lifters on this thread.

When do you have lamb chops?

I tend to cook my own, and I don't do sweetcorn.

    They like it.

  19. Unless it’s salad on your Sunday dinner of course.

How does gravy and lettuce work man? I’d have thought they would repel each other like two magnets the wrong way round
