Beehive on the road between Earsdon and Seaton Sluice. Amazing food. Can't book for less than 6 so may have a short wait.

Hinnys at Whitley Bay meant to be very good although I haven't been myself.

The cannon inn in earsdon is excellent
The Waterford arms in seaton sluice

The best place is 42nd street on the bottom of south parade in Whitley bay. Lush Sunday dinners, lush homemade desserts and good views of the seafront.
