its not back tracking as such, more a sound bite to appeal to the hard core Tories that was against lockdowns, remember he only needs those people to vote for him not the whole country, he can change his tune again if he wins.

Lying twat - he will presumably have had to approve the minutes. If his claimed objections were true then someone would have flagged the minutes up as being inaccurate

He is either lying about what he said at the meetings or is incompetent if he didnt object to the minutes when they were drawn up

Its my belief that those who died in the pandemic would have died with or without sage or Sunak for that matter. The biggest factor was not down to vaccination status but those who were clinically obese, diabetic or have serious other underlying health conditions such as Kidney failure and on dialysis, Cancer patients Neurological conditions such as Alziemers Dementia MND Parkinsons and those who were immunocompromised etc

Would you rather it was a million had died and no lockdowns or masks

And one last thing a vaccine does not prevent covid from spreading

I'm saying plenty died having had the vaccine as well as without having had the vaccine... Its an hypothetical question.
The main factor of poor outcome was obesity, type 1 & 2 diabetes Cardiovascular & Pulmonary disease Asthma Smoking etc Heart disease and Kidney disease and some autoimmune conditions... Autoimmune means whereby a person's immune system attacks the its own tissues and organs
