Stupid sacking

if it means so little why are most clubs with that attendance in the premier league
Because they have been at the top the longest generally, or have bigger populations. They are also generally the richest clubs from income, but a small percentage of it is attendance.
(Also we are one of the least expensive clubs to watch, which means clubs with less attendance charging more will still have a similar income from it)

And he is right to moan. H e has told the club they needed an experienced defensive mdfileder and striker and they went out and brought in a load of kids.
They are clueless and hes forgotten more than they know

And he is right to be snide becuase Dreyfuss and Speakman have been shit. He has forgotten more than these clowns know
His managerial career record suggests it was never going to work out long term. He took the job knowing the terms of his employment and if he didn’t like it, it took him a long time to say so.

Exactly so clubs with largest attendances in the main play in the top league

I respectfully suggest the terms did not include playing without a striker for a season or buying ones that are totally ineffective.
Promoted then unexpectedly got top six useless bastards
We are a premier league club.that is the very least we should be achieving .
Under Drumaville we were promoted to the Premier league in less than a season
Stewart cost 250 grand from Ross County and was injured when he signed.

Are we writing off these 4 strikers already?
And when he was signed we had a man in front of him knocking in 30 goals

Who was also signed for 500 grand and took 2 seasons to hit form

Wouldn't have been surprised if he stayed, he did enough last season to buy him a bit of patience through a rough patch. Not surprised he went either, he seemed to have lost some enthusiasm for it and went from last season's "We'll find a way to score" to putting the blame on recruitment.

For all that's been said in public nobody knows what was said in private.

To me if the owners don't think he was the correct person to take us forward, it is there prerogative to make a change as they see fit. Fundamentally, there was not a huge amount wrong with Mowbray explaining why some fans feel unhappy with his sacking. However, along with the board, and some fans, there is the possibility that another manager may do better. Clearly, he may not and we as fans will judge in time whether it was the correct decision.

Clouding judgement, is the fact considering where we were as a club not so long ago, where we are today is clearly better, so sacking Mowbray will not make sense to some. However, to me changing manager from a relative position of strength is far better than waiting to do it from a position of weakness.

And both knew what the setup was, as we all do.
Very true. Doesn't mean they couldn't bend their rules a little when required to achieve success. A rigid strategy rarely works as it cant adapt to the outside world.
You've just said he was scouting youth players. I think it should be me thanking you for clearing things up.
I've consistently pointed out he was within recruitment team when they signed him. They do go to adult games to watch young players too you know. They'll also work as a group as with any department of a large organisation. But you keep head in sand thinking your right there.

Like signing Dack?

This season under Mowbray, we look like finishing 8-14th. Obviously this is guesswork but I've seen nothing to suggest Mowbray has another plan up his sleeve.

KLD and Speakman have decided that they want better. They might get it wrong, but I'm not going to knock their ambition.

As others have said, perhaps they wanted rid of him earlier and were just waiting for the right time. Now could be seen as the right time. We're pretty much secure for this season, so whoever comes in has a free hit. Also, with Jan approaching, it makes sense to do it now and let the new manager have a look at the squad before bringing in/letting go players.

In that regard, it makes perfect sense.

Only stupid if they don't have anyone lined up that is available immediately and us better than Mowbray.
The writing was on the wall preseason ,that the owner wants someone young an trendy . Get the feeling we are just his plaything .
I would have given Mowbray till the end of the season but can understand why they haven't. Doesn't fit the image of the club that they have.
Guess we will see if stupid or not come May.
Going to be a lot of posters looking stupid when the manager gets the strikers scoring 🤣
We live in hope. Stop conceding sloppy goals would be useful too.

If the owners were that bothered about dropping points to Millwall, Plymouth and Huddersfield they should've given TM money to replace Stewart in the summer. Instead, they've given him 2 untested, injured strikers that he never asked for and Mason Burstow. Now they sack him because of poor results? Sheer stupidity. What did they expect? Rusyn to score 30 on his first season?

It seems like a stupid knee-jerk reaction based off the last 5 games to me. They've left TM without a striker or CB for the whole season and expected him to perform miracles. 3 bad results, sorry mate you're SACKED!

Stupidity.
.. Think you can look at this two ways. Done a good job, but results have been lacking of late. If the club want to be successful and think another manager could improve things you can't really argue with that. Can't say I fully agree with the decision as any other manager is going to fa e the same challenges imo , and I would have liked to see him have a few more games to try to turn it around. They have made their decision, we move on, and will be judged by the results of it ..
