What EB seems to miss, is that not many people don't rate Broad as such, they just feel he shouldn't be picked on current form as there's a few viable alternatives. If there wasn't, I don't think we'd be having this debate. I think Broad is a good bowler, but the bare facts state he hasn't improved in any great way since his debut 4 years ago, and he's been completely out of form recently, and when you have bowlers like Finn and Bresnan in form, it would be stupid not to consider a change.
