Strikers in jan

Surely this is a whoosh?
Deadly serious man. The campaign to bring back, "and the lanky Jock" starts here. He's now realised that Southampton is a long way from Scotland and Southampton fans have 'controversially' refused to call him The Loch Ness Drogba.

We ain’t getting an experienced striker so we’ll just have to bring Amad back. Worked last season for the most part

Who is realistic for January?we are crying out for a forward, who is available and realistic?
if you think the recruitment team will go out in January for a striker than im afraid your going to be disappointed.......this will not even even be on the agenda

We are scoring goals the problem I think lies with the middle of midfield. We are just lacking that player who puts his foot in and holds it together . At the moment we have 3 cracking young lads in their with a couple of back up lads who play the same to come on, but they like playing the killer ball rather ran just holding onto the ball

They'll sign more players on the cheap who might make them a profit...one or two of them might be strikers. None will be a sure bet.

Not at the moment away from home we aren't

We have four young strikers yet to fully fulfill their potential we won’t be spending money on another especially in January
We want a ready made striker who can score goals NOW

Clueless. We need a good centre forward .

We were (roughly - transfermarkt) 7th in incoming expenditure behind
1 Leicester City (Parachute Payments)
2 Leeds United (Parachute Payments)
3 Coventry City (Sold Gyökeres for big money)
4 Southampton FC (Parachute Payments)
5 Stoke City
6 Middlesbrough FC (Sold Akpom for Decent Money)
7 Sunderland

And that's not including the new contracts for Ballard, Roberts etc

To say we dont make sizeable investments seems a little harsh.
it’s a lazy argument

Should never have let LND go, could have been the difference between promotion and mediocrity. If we went up we'd have been able to keep him. If we lost him for nowt it wouldn't have been the end of the world cos we only paid 800k for him or summit and he did get us out of league 1. Still think we should have given him the wages and we wouldn't be in this mess. Best striker in the league by a mile when he's fit.
