Well doneNo one's on strike tomorrow (Thursday 2nd February).
Aye bairns off also, I do get it but we took the bairn out of school for half a day in September and the letter was ridiculous on how it impacts hers and the schools stats. I’ll just ignore anything they send moving forward.I know my little one is off school today because the teachers are on strike again

I’ve got no problem giving inflation matching pay rise….BUT….say inflation gets to 2% next year, will they be happy to take a pay cut to that……didn’t think so.As someone not involved in the strikes can I ask where is the money supposed to come from to get these higher rises they’re after?

Make tax avoiding corporations pay the massive amount of tax they avoid paying- us plebs can’t evade tax, why should they?
And there’s always money in the pot when e.g. it’s paid to cronies of the government to pay for fictional/ unusable PPE or there’s a ‘just’ war.
There’s plenty of ways to fund public services without it affecting anyone’s quality of life in a negative way.
