Strange line up

But they're two relatively young and inexperienced lads, Ji doesn't also look the strongest, Wickham totally not ready yet. What this says is he's feeling the pressure and he's not prepared to take the risk and will stick with experience till the games either tied up or we need to change. I think that's understandable, what I find amazing is he's the bloke who paid £10m for them, so it's also utterly ridiculous.

Hes been playing against this level of team or stronger for the last few seasons how the hell is he not ready ? Just dont buy into it

“@SAFCofficial: Sessegnon, who played the number 9 position superbly at Bolton and West Ham last season, will be a menacing presence there again tonight.”

Bruce is obviously reeling from criticism of having no plan B. He has obviously countered that by putting plan B out first, so he can change things to what he should have done in the first place. He will then be regarded as a tactical genius. Simples.

Wickham came from playing regularly in the Championship though and we are playing a Championship side, ideal time to play him as he's proved he's ready at that level.

Hit and miss though as a kid at that level. Also bit more pressure leading the line than playing wide in a 3.

Oh well, we can shift Dong and Wickham before the window shuts then.

I don't buy all this young inexperienced stuff. Why was Henderson capable of playing at a young age, why is Colback, why was Meyler etc.

Dong has played for his country.
Wickham has plenty experience at Championship level which is what we're facing tonight.

Bruce has not got the foggiest what to do with his signings so is chucking all his midfield together to hope he finds a partnership or connection of sorts.

Ridiculous to start with not one natural striker when we got ones available. Couldnt give shit if result comes from it it's plain stupid.

How is it ridiculous we won our last 2 away games of last season playing with Sess up front & flooding midfield - it works well away from home why change it.
Some fans on here just love moaning.

There's a difference between 'defending' someone and correcting loonies going beserker over every nuance of a football club.
this for me aswell. It is a strange line up but wont criticise him till full time as the game could go anyway.

Its a shame that this "plan B" is f***ing ludicrous then.

Why the fuck have we got 8 (eight) midfielders on the pitch?
