The disruption in that the owner wants to sell the club and the lengthy change in manager.
So the disruption of changing a manager that all clubs will go through when changing the manager, so no excuse imo.

And why should the club being up for sale affect the managers abilities?

The money he spent is minimal, it wasn't 13m-19m on N'dong as many papers would have you believe, nor was it 8m on Papy. The wages also minimal.
It may be minimal, but it's more than 5 other clubs, who are all above us. Again, not an excuse for being bottom of the league.

Our club has been gathering pace towards the championship where as the clubs you have mentioned probably haven't, more likely they have been built up over a matter of years rather than costly fire fighting.
No it hasn't. The second half of last season the club was on the up and had the form of a mid table team. A half decent manager should have continued that form.

'Havent done badly?'

Were rock bottom, 6 points and 15 goals from safety, he didnt win in his first 10 league games was it? We went out of the cup to Burley whove beaten us twice in 3 outings, scoring 5 v our 1.
I appreciate @Coeus 's points he has made. But ultimately I can never see someone with his negative/dour manner ever being accepted fully by our fans, hence why it will fail at some stage.

Nonesensical statement. If it is relative then it is both not that much but also a hell of a lot.

In this case it is not that much when compared to what teams in the Prem earn but a hell of a lot compared to what our rivals in the Championship will.
Relative to our expenses, you dingbat.

True, not like he had masses of clubs braying his door down.

I wonder how much damage he could do in 4 years.
We've already seen how much damage he can do in two, transfer windows

He'll be like the atomic bomb on Nagasaki & Hiroshima utter carnage if he sees out four years

A rancid squad, 9 of whom who picked up 27 points from 19 starts and only lost 3 games.

Moyes sold Kaboul (8 players left from last season) didn't replace him like for like. He bought dross, only had 2 or 3 players out injured at the start of the season (6 players left from last season). The problem was he had to play his dross instead of the players off last season.

Go with your gut feeling, the bloke is shit.
You have any evidence of his involvement in that?

To be fair, if Short had any sense (I know) he would have agreed a termination figure in the contract. It would still be a shit load of money (especially since it would probably also count as the compensation we'd be entitled to if he left having done well) but it isn't necessarily the case that you need to completely pay up a contract if such a clause exists

More than likely but it still won't be cheap. I reckon you'd be looking at north of £3m at least.

I said at the beginning of my involvement in this thread that is to do with perspective at the factors of the football club yours is that none of those I have listed should have an effect on the clubs performance so I completely understand why you don't rate him. My rationale is quite different.
