Stokes 'the oatcake' forum

I've never been that annoyed by them. They got on with things while we were bringing out the clowns on and off the pitch.

Talking of which is Fishpaste still on there? He's like a dose of crabs.

Not this shit again :lol::lol:

Who cares what they think? Some comments on there are reasonable and some are ridiculous just like this place.

Ohh, and they boo a player who almost had his career ended by one of theirs. As fans (not just internet fans) they're a bunch of bellends.

Strange that there seems to be this rivalry between two message boards, it's amusing to read

Was having a conversation with a mate about this last week. Do they actually like anyone? They spend most of every home game booing opposing players. Even Ramsey who had the nerve to get seriously injured by one of their players

It's about time we dropped all of this shite. They don't like any other team, I don't blame them, I can relate to that. I don't blame them taking the piss either, we'd do exactly the same.

They're the type of fans that when together will no doubt have a go and try and rub it in but individually they will be sound. Well most of them. That's generally how it works.

Do I hate Stoke? Of course not.

the question remains:what the fuck's an oatcake and is it better than a stottie?

My uncle Bill was from Sunderland but moved to Stoke 50 years ago. He has since died but his son is a Stoke fan. He is a massive ****, he probably posts on that forum

They boo everyone, utter spenks man

I don't agree with it nor do I take part in it but there is far more to the Ramsey incident than meets the eye.

I went some way to explaining it on another thread the other week but, there is even more to it than I outlined and the view that Stoke fans boo Ramsey because he broke his leg is far too simplistic and blatantly wrong.

It's a build up of a lot of things that quite frankly is the fault of both Arsenal and Stoke City football club. No more and no less. Neither club have done enough to dampen the flames of a row that was essentially started in 1972/73 and was reignited by a petty feud between Tony Pulis and Arsene Wenger many years later.

Makes absolutely no sense. So boo their team, boo their manager, boo Frank McLintock, Charlie George and the 1972/73 team, boo any of their current players if you feel they are cheats etc. But why the fuck boo the bloke that got his leg shattered off an awful tackle? Makes no sense at all.

Also what was the booing of Danny Rose about like?

He lost his footing in the box but didn't claim for a penalty so they booed him

Fair enough mate. I just say what I hear and I guess without knowing the full story, a judgement is made by what I know. It just looks very distasteful from the outside looking in.
