KP rested for the ODI's. ODI batting lineup still looks way short on firepower infact it looks fuckin shit!

f***ing sick of this. Went to Pakistan game last year, and India game next week, and KP wasn't there last year, nor will he play next week
 
Rested? We don't play any more cricket for months after this, he can have a rest then ffs.

We're shite enough at ODIs as it is without "resting" our best player.
 
Great for Stokes but you have to wonder how he made it after only recently coming back from injury with very few twenty20 matches this season.

He is in because they wanted him for the Sri Lanka games but he was injured. Its what he did at the start of the season not what he has done recently.

I think if Stokes does well he will be on the winter tours for the test team instead of Ravi.
 
Great to see new players coming in, even if KP is rested. The Indian team during the Test Series have shown what happens if you don't introduce new players gradually to the setup, after all ODI cricket is just a sideshow anyway.
