I'm just suprised that Fuller hasn't been done retrospectively for his stamp on Meyler... a leg breaker if ever i saw one. Oh' and Meyler didn't roll around for that one either.

one post on Oatcake tickled me; they should withdraw from the Premier League and invite the original members of the football league to join. Then, amend the rules so that tackling is allowed and referees are only allowed to show so many red and yellow cards in a season!!! That should make for interesting end of season games; "I know he's kicked your centre forward in the face 19 times as he lay on the floor but I've used all my cards for the season". Actually, should suit Stoke down to the ground

My Oatcake account is functional.
Do I go on and be reasonable?
Or take one for the SMB?

I specifically wanted to reply to the morons who suggested that more legs needed to be broken on football pitches.
They're a lovely bunch aren't they?![]()
I live about 20 miles from Stoke, 10 miles from Derby, and a lot of the local Derby fans have a strong disliking for them. Even some of the Derby looney fringe have referred to their fans as nutters.
A few years ago one of my brother's mates who is a Stoke fan acted very strangely when we saw him in a post-boozeup chippie one night. They'd finished above SAFC and he went on like a tit to be honest. If he wasn't married into a local gypsy family then I'd have teased him a bit!
How did you manage that then? I tried last night with a gmail account but it was denied.

which is why club officials shouldn't bleat too much about diving or bad decisions cos someone will always be able to find an incident where they gain from it. Same as Pulis moaning about Cattermole's handball last season; season before their player had done exactly the sameMust be lovely on that high horse of theirs. They are Stoke and they don't dive.
Someone should tell Matthew Etherington at around 2m 40 then. He felt contact though (and if you can spot it you're doing well).
Hang on, though. I thought that you should only go down if you're really hurt and to do otherwise is cheating pure and simple?
