stoke loose appeal

They seem to think that because the foul shouldn't have been a red card that it wasn't a foul. It's great how the appeal has been knocked back, I reckon Pulis being an arse has had a lot to do with that. He probably turned up and said it can't be a red card he didn't break his legs.

I must admit I thought something along those lines. Pulis' comments about Meyler's "cheating" must have been in their minds when reviewing it. When watching it, whatever you thought of Huth's tackle (I think a yellow might have been enough - but he certainly risked a red) it is absolutely clear that Meyler was not cheating. Pulis blithering on turned it into a "Meyler was a cheat" appeal - there was no way they were going to find (implicitly) that Meyler had cheated.

What I have noticed with stoke fans is they appear to have been brainwashed by their manager. Going onto that oatcake thread is like an endless echo of Tony Pulis.

I am one of the "physical game" supporters so I can sympathize with Huth and the sending off. It should have been a yellow.

For Pulis to accuse Meyler of diving is a joke. There was clear contact and because he was travelling at speed, his momentum made it look worse than it was.

Stoke are like an extra derby match. I hate them as much as the mags at the minute

missed it - what is the jist? "screw him, we've moved on, its Meyler I feel sorry for"
Saying at the time it looked a red card and everyone could see it. The ref gets one look at it. People saying the conditions should have been taken into consideration, maybe Huth should have done that before he went in for the tackle. Meyler was caught and he has had serious injuries in the past and is not to blame in anyway.

Something like this mate
