I’d like ifollow included in the season ticket
I live in London and my job means there is no chance I can get back for mid week games. I’ve paid for the game so I shouldn’t have to pay again

Why are out ball boys still absolutely f***ing clueless?

Send thanks to JR on the throw ins, we seem to be able to do one which doesn’t end up in a shot on our goal in 3 passes.
On that note. Liverpool now have a throw in coach

This is something I've said. I'm only a South Yorkshire exile, but due to having to travel on my own and miss family time there's no current way I'd comit to a SC, until that is my six year old becomes interested enough. Having travelled up with him for his first game last weekend I can't afford and probably can't be arsed to travel again tomorrow. If Ifollow (or similar) was included as part of a SC I could pay upfront and pick and choose which games I attended much easier with one cost and I'd probably get to more games than I do now and contribute to the clubs coffers more.

I disagree. Gillingham offer a better service for the same price so why can't we?

I bet it’s a contractual reason with BBC Radio or something like that. They have the rights to do radio commentary only, the club have the right to stream and if the included commentary of their own it would take business away from BBC Radio Newcastle. I’m sure the club would love to offer a better service but must of what is possible would have been in place before they were here, for example the contract with BBC. I’m sure what they currently offer is about as good as they possibly can with the money they want to charge.

I obviously could be wrong but I’d be surprised if any football fan in charge of a club came up with the idea of only been able to offer a video stream OR commentary as the best option!

Agree it would be nice but the price is set by the league I think so I don't think they're actually allowed to do it.

To be fair though the EFL seem quite open minded about it - iFollow was a massive step forward in the first place then the agreement to stream non 3pm games as well this season. Wouldn't be surprised if something like that was introduced in the future

Think its quite refreshing compared to the Premier League who cry like babies about illegal streams when the streams are only there because foreign broadcasters pay them billions of pounds to show them in the first place.

Some corkers in here like

“Can I email in suggestions of players to sign from Football Manager?”
“Can you put more pictures up on the website cos I don’t recognise the players?”
“Are you in favour of people using VPNs to illegally stream matches?”

Its pretty obvious that he has done so many of these interviews they have ran out of questions, why else would they ask on here?

Roker Report on Twitter

I might get wrong for posting this but I'm only doing so as a few posters mentioned in the past they'd like to put their questions forward and didn't know how.

We're writing the plan for the show at about 1pm so if you think there's anything we need to ask that hasn't already been covered off in the replies, please do.

For each of these shows we've ensured that all of the questions we ask come from fans just like you and I that have got in touch to put theirs forward, and in my opinion with each case we've been able to cover just about everything we possibly can.

The show is recording tomorrow and will be available from 7am on Sunday morning.

Following on from the thread started on here the other day (which you could perhaps draw his attention to), I’d ask what improvements are planned to the SSOL.

I’d also ask whether the club are looking to negotiate another deal with Adidas or go elsewhere.

What are you Grumpy? Bass, Baritone, Tenor!

Second bass, although my solo voice is baritone. I'm blessed/cursed with an above average range, so I cna get down to the notes needed to sing Russian music, while getting well into the tenor range at the top. I'm singing second because that's where I;m most needed in terms of balancing numbers.

Which one is you in that pic then

Singing is a great stress buster by the way, enjoy!!
which one are you on the photo then?

That would be telling ;)

People on the forum who've met me will know straight away.

Can we just get some contactless payment machines in the food stalls so I can get a pint at half time rather than fuck about with some two-tiered ‘app’ system that the people behind the counter are inadequately clued up on?

It’s having an app for the f***ing sake of it imho, surely contactless payment machines would be cheaper to install. You’ve been sold a pup imho.
I am not sure of the costs /benefits of installing contactless gizzmos that will get used on max 22-30 occasions per year for 2-4 hours do you?especially when the money fro sales goes to the franchise firm.I think we will have to wait until the contract is up!

Speaking for myself... it’s like a bipolar society. We get a lot of stick, and that’s fine! But I wish people weren’t so aggressive.

That’s just forums though.
Yeah I thought that. I was reading one of the podcast posts and some of the anti rr, anti wms stuff etc was weird. Ok if you don’t like it but some posters were ott. I was just curious how those opinions might affect how you viewed this forum. I still think this forum is possibly the best medium to reach safc fans (I could be wrong like) but it’s a bit odd at times

I’ve been coming on this forum since 2002 - well before RR even existed. I’ve got thick skin ;)

Thinking outside the box, fan hands back his seat for the odd game = gets a code to watch online free of charge.
