We'll definitely be looking to talk about that. Few people - me included - have concerns that for £10 a shot, the service doesn't represent value for money. Clubs like Gillingham offer multiple camera angles and commentary with theirs, for instance.

And an ability to pause/rewind the stream like iFollow. This is important so we can sync up the radio commentary as well as to go back and watch controversial/key play.

Do the club get all of the SAFsee stream money?, if not what percentage do they take?. What does he think about people in UK using vpn trick to watch the saturday 3pm games?

He'll say he doesn't approve of course, but in reality there are a huge number of internal exiles who can't get to many games, and they may as well be paying the club cash to watch a stream.
Applies to away games even more so of course. And it helps those people build a bond with the club and the players.

The club won't care so long as it doesn't actually affect home attendances much (and who in the NE would fail to go in person in order to pay for and watch a crappy stream instead?).

And if we aren't on Sky or whatever no other bugger will care either - it's just ante-diluvian rules...

It's amazing how quickly this situation has turned into a vehicle for people to piss and moan about little gripes rather than an opportunity to ask interesting questions.

How many more of these do you think he's going to bother to do if all it ends up being is a list of petty grievances and people wanting more for less? If it were me I'd feel completely unappreciated given the hard work is put in and how the club have started the season.

We're doing well on the pitch but I suppose our lot are only happy if they've got something to whinge about. f***ing hell.

We've got streams this year, we didn't last year. If you think it's poor value/quality don't buy them. I don't recall anyone on here getting up in arms when the last lot didn't even bother to offer us this service yet there are plenty wiling to have a go at the club now because it's not good enough.

A lot of the questions posed this far sound entitled and it's becoming a free for all for the sort of people who are always on the lookout for the chance to say "can I speak to your manager" in any transaction.

What we had to do last year was pay for the other clubs' ifollow streams, which was mental. But the actual ifollow stream was better than what we are paying for now.

Roker Report on Twitter

I might get wrong for posting this but I'm only doing so as a few posters mentioned in the past they'd like to put their questions forward and didn't know how.

We're writing the plan for the show at about 1pm so if you think there's anything we need to ask that hasn't already been covered off in the replies, please do.

For each of these shows we've ensured that all of the questions we ask come from fans just like you and I that have got in touch to put theirs forward, and in my opinion with each case we've been able to cover just about everything we possibly can.

The show is recording tomorrow and will be available from 7am on Sunday morning.
Ask him if it's possible to get card payments accepted in the bars and food counters.

Oxford had commentary with theirs

Just gan to the Fookin game....

You're massively missing the point though. Not all of us still live in Shiney Row and have Saturdays free without repsonsibilities.

For every committed fan in say Kent who is prepared to get up for every home game (and spend the money need to get there and the entire day away from his wife/kids/dogs) there will be dozens who would quite happily pay £6/£10 or whatever to watch the lads for 90 minutes.

The club would be stupid to ignore those fans if they can easily be brought into the fold and bring some cash in.

I'd like to know about stuff I don't already know about. I couldn't give a shite about the questions posed so far.

What's he enjoying? Not enjoying? How did he find the transfer window? How do thing differ from Eastleigh? What is he finding difficult?

Get an insight into how the Chairman and the club work rather than twisting about the halftime beer selection ffs.

Has there been any thought on how to make away ticket allocations fairer? I get the current system and support it, but it's almost impossible for out of area ST holders to get black cat points when you can't get a sniff at an away ticket. It looks like it will be very slim pickings for low black cat points holders and no way to build demonstrate the loyalty and interest in going to aways. There's been plenty of discussion that card details couldn't be retained due to changes in the law but what about a pre-paid deposit that you top-up as it gets depleted and can then use to apply for tickets with loyalty points for unsuccessful applications like in former years.

I disagree.

There was literally a game this week that was worth a loyalty point... There was also Sheffield Wednesday, Gillingham and every pre-season game.

Yes it’s further away for long distance fans, but NE fans pay more in away travel in that case.

I’m pretty sure that Coventry will get pretty low, Shrewsbury is a fair distance so might be ok, Doncaster will go to general, Plymouth will go to general, Walsall will go low, Portsmouth and Bristol might go fairly low cos of the distance, Charlton give a big allocation, Barnsley will go to general and I imagine Rochdale will go pretty low.

We will also have Morecambe and Carslile in the cup for an extra two (and more if we go further or get to the FA Cup)

Also there has been like 50 games I the past two years that we’re worth points that the currently lot have attended and built points? It was exactly the same in the premier league and people slowly built points by attending the shitty ones like Swansea, Palace mid-week etc... and couldn’t get a sniff on derby tickets, Man U away, new grounds etc...

Just out of interest why is it more difficult for out of area ST holders to accumulate loyalty points, I'd suggest that unless you live to the North the travelling to most aways is less?
You could have built your points up over the last few seasons no problem, plenty of others have.

Inspired by the change of ownership I committed to a season ticket for the first time in more than 10 years. Away days before the season ticket don't count and that's the rule so no problem there but given the number of sellouts so far the first realistic away day is Coventry if we take an increased allocation - I was in the US the week we played Gilligham otherwise I would have been there.

There's a bit of a chicken and egg situation, hence my point about being easier to collect loyalty points if you live locally due to friendlies and home cup games.
