 Sorry forgot I am the only person who ever mentioned anything about VPN on here and I'd also be grassing myself as I do it for the away games. i'd still be interested to know about how much % the club get from it.
You're still a grass.

Does he feel the expectation of fans of our club as a burdon?
We are born and bred realist's, given half a chance who know's.
Well done done to date

I bought a season card this summer for the first time in over 30 years, despite living in Bristol. I'm hoping to make all the homes, except when I can't due to singing commitments here, and as many aways as are feasible given location and allocation (only 2 points so far). I have a wife, a son, and had a dog until 18 months ago, when we had to have him put down at over 14 years of age. While I'll admit to needing to lose another 4 kilos or so, I'm nowhere near 18 stone. When you've been married 35 years, you learn to give each other space for their interests. What it is, undeniably, is expensive in terms of both time and money. I'm exceptionally fortunate in that not being a problem. I don't mind being called an obsessed masochist. I've been watching the lads for over 50 years, so I'm probably overqualified on that score.

Only half-jokingly though, I reckon that season card holders from postcodes more than, say, 150 miles from the SoL should get at least some loyalty points for going to home games <swiftly dons flameproof jacket>

For goodness sake Grump's, don't shout too much (when in full chorus behind the lads) and make sure you wear your scarf in the coming months of Autumn and Winter, got to look after those dulcet tones;) Good on yer young'un for your commitment and passion:) Sorry to hear about your dog:cry: Are you going to replace him/her?

Appreciate that questions are generally more about peoples individual gripes. Mine being that when people are leaving early, now with no TV's on downstairs fans congregate around the walkways, making viewing difficult unless stood, which in turn causes issues with people behind etc. Stewards dont seem aware/bothered about it.

I know their reasoning for turning the tv's off, but in doing so they are affecting fans who do stay until the end
What is the reason for the TV’s being off?

I'd like to see long term season ticket holders, like 30+ years be offered cheaper boxes, if they're going to stand empty, why not reward loyalty?
I don't think they have any record of this before the stadium. Which was why the loyalty points reset when we moved too.

I had an argument with someone about how that was wrong at the time. I suppose it is 20 years now like......

This is something I've said. I'm only a South Yorkshire exile, but due to having to travel on my own and miss family time there's no current way I'd comit to a SC, until that is my six year old becomes interested enough. Having travelled up with him for his first game last weekend I can't afford and probably can't be arsed to travel again tomorrow. If Ifollow (or similar) was included as part of a SC I could pay upfront and pick and choose which games I attended much easier with one cost and I'd probably get to more games than I do now and contribute to the clubs coffers more.
That's a great idea.

What is the reason for the TV’s being off?
To stop people leaving their seats and watching the last few minutes in the concourse.

Thinking outside the box, fan hands back his seat for the odd game = gets a code to watch online free of charge.

and then the seat is still available. I like that idea though I'm sure the admin side of it would add to the cost.

or even say a 10 to 15 game season ticket with the streaming included.

@Cack Stottie can you ask him about the 3PM broadcast rule ? Reports coming out it’s about to be broke and any EFL game can be broadcast.
The jist that I got from the BBC article that was linked to the thread yesterday is that it's only when there's an international break and not every week. I may have read it wrong but that's the impression I got.

Edit: here's the link which mentions usual broadcasting rol rules don't apply to international breaks - EFL clubs to stream Saturday 15:00 BST kick-offs for first time - EFL clubs to stream Saturday 15:00 BST kick-offs for first time

Something very minor. However, it seems to be accepted that home teams generally like to attack the home end in the second half. So why do we attack the north stand in the second half and the South stand in the first? It makes no sense to me and does my head in
Because the North Stand is the worst home end in world football?

Just one I noticed last Saturday, I was waiting to get into turnstile 2 but there was a significant delay because of the organisation of queues.

The queue I was in had one main bit then two merging into the main queue, so the people like me who had been waiting for 15 minutes were getting overtaken by people literally just turning up. Obviously people were kicking off with the other queue but it was shambolic organisation.

Ah I get it now. So people today don’t really need iFollow? It’ll be a thing soon in the EFL where you can buy your team’s games via Sky.

Cheers for that mind.

No probs. Fairly certain that people need to do it via their club's streaming service today and certainly in the near future. It's just that international breaks are another instance where a VPN isn't needed. It might still be a while before we end up where you suggest.

But the SAFC website says today's stream is only available to international subscribers.

Which is it?

No Charlie, he’s playing football with his mates at the AOL.
Juan is there with him too apparently so either the baby has been born or he’s chosen the match instead
