Steve Davison

well other clubs have shops as well..i think what hinders safc is that the stadium, and there fore shop, is nort really near any town centre..so gets less footfall thsn other clubs-even clubs with much smaller fanbases.
the second issue is that safc has a remarksble number of season card holders-and so does less one off ticket sales-meaning our ticket office is probably less busy than others..

Because they literally have to😂

Cant believe they are not pushing the Coventry game. We should of had ticket details announced last week and push for a huge gate for our first game back in the championship.

He might be having to do a juggling act with a very limited operating budget.

It seems like the commercial side of the club is last on the list for an overhaul.
In fairness non league clubs with none of the resources of SAFC can organise merchandice and turnstile operators.

Fans want to put money into the Club lets just make it easy for them to do so.

All we need to do is open a shop (anywhere) and have cash and contactless turnstiles. If Davison cant organise that he needs to go.

The football side of things is looking good for the fist time in a long time but not having a shop opening regularly is hopeless. Huge own goal after Wembley imagine if we had some stock and the shop was open when the concerts were on 100000 plus footfall at the sol shocking

You've disregarded the lads point about our online club shop being crap and charging the same delivery fee irrespective of how much you spend. Then waiting on for a delivery, sending back if something doesnt fit etc ( you cant go back to the store as it's shut )

Of course online shopping is common now, but i'd hedge a bet we're one of the few if the only club that hasnt got a club shop and/or ticket office open with three weeks to go to the season opener.

@Guinness Guzzler What was the clubs latest stance on opening the store/ticket office at least for a few days every week?

i dont disregard those points about the website being shite..but those points wont be solved by opening a phsical shop out of town. SAFC has the problem that the stadium is out of town so gets no foot fall on non match days..thats why comparisons woth many other clubs are otiose

There's a retail outlet available to lease just next to the entrance of the Bridges.....Annual rent is £17K,

Clubs like Darlo have a presence in their Town centre and Pools have their ticket office open during the week. Which ever way people come at this debate, the way the club is being run off the pitch is bang average.
Within days of the new kit launch we've ran out of stock.....just shouldn't happen. People cant speak to a real person face to face if they have an issue with season cards, or any ticketing problem. Again just shouldn't happen.
