Despite all the positives with KLD increasing his stake and money being invested in the team is it time for this fella to be moved on?

Appears out of his depth, the match day operations, ticketing (still no cov tickets on sale), club shop is bettered by some league 2 clubs. Time to raise the standards now we are back in the championship in my opinion and he’s not cutting it

Didn't realise there's no tickets on sale yet for Coventry game!! What an absolute shambles. I'm worried KLD hasn't done anything yet regarding club shop, ticket office opening etc.

I don't think it's his preference to annoy folk, perhaps what some see as out-of-depth is a reasonable decision given all things considered.

Plus, isn't he a director and therefore unlikely to be moved on?

Yep 100% agree. Stewy Donald and Charlie took this club to its lowest point, I hated it. However from snippets you hear from this bloke, he doesn’t seem to know how to get us out of it off the pitch.

I’m so optimistic for the first time In years on the playing side, but off the field matters I’m the complete opposite, and Davison just seems to be confident he’s on the right track. He really isn’t, he needs to either realise he is miles off, and we need to up our game for the fans sake, or he needs to go.

kld must not be interested in the commercial side of SAFC and its reputation with its fans ..thats the only conclusion you can draw from the present shambolic situation.........we do however (playing devils advocate for davison)do not know how much is being spent on that side of things?do we have enough people in place to organize these things and how hog tied we are by donalds previous contracts on the commertcial side......

If kld is not aware of the situation it doesnt look good for him ! if he is aware ,it doesn't look good! From the outside if its nothing to do with the squad it looks like a spend as little as possible approach and bugger the outcome rather than a do the best job we can with the money weve got..its a subtle but significant difference in approach........
Many people will be happy with most spending on the club being put towards the team............but if we want to be seen as a professional club we cannot have the commercial side run like a stall in a market.

Commercially SAFC are a very weak club, have been for years. There's so much untapped potential, it's a shame really. We were already well known in the footballing community but Netflix put us on a global stage and the chance to take full advantage of that hasn't been utilised.

directors leave all the time..he isnt a shareholder.
He hasnt impressed me..he comes from a biog corproate world and seems to be trying to use that style at safc which isnt bi g enough to need it..

maybe the current model is to operate on a minimum waste strategy, so packing the club shop out in stuff that potentially might not sell etc, is a way of creating financial waste for little gain.
The managing director of British Shoe Corporation (who owned most of the country's shoe shops at the time) once said "We don't make our profits on the shoes we sell; we make them on how few are left in the warehouse". In other words, it's down to getting the buying process, delivery schedules and stock control right, rather than shops being fully (or worse, over) stocked at all times.

I assume we are trying to maximise season ticket sales before we start selling match by match tickets. Seems sensible.
People have had months to buy season tickets..

Can't disagree with any of that mate.
