Stella down to 4.6%

I know its not everyones favourite tipple on here and this thread isnt about that, anyway...

Its a no for me. Went from 5.2-4.8% now its gone to 4.6%. Tastes totally different, tastless in fact. A loyal customer is off, any recommendations for a new alcoholic beverage?

Thought it had dropped to 4.6% years ago? I prefer San Miguel me, £9 8 x 500ml 5.0% gives me a nice buzz everytime

No it dropped to 4.8%. Have san now and again, so maybe will be having more as Stella can do one.

Good shout. What i cant understand is, why change a winning formula... they got away with it once, twice now, they can do one for me.

Nah, a shadow of its former self. Load of added shite to it. Still alreet as a fridge filler when on offer though.

I've been buying the import san miguel in cans in tesco. 5.4% and fiver for 8 cans.. actually works out cheaper than the stuff brewed here which is weaker

I think it was tax on alcohol over 5% originally.

No idea what this was about. I agree though- I’m divorcing her after 25 years of bliss.

You need to get into craft stuff marra. Much stronger and tastier.

My local morrisons does 5 bottles of super bock for a 5er, 5 per cent. I'd still buy the odd can of stella now n then and it was ok at 4.8 per cent, but I wouldn't buy a can at 4.6. I used to love it at 5.2, the whole appeal of it was it would get you pissed.

Some of that polish lager is dangerous. I was getting slabs off a polish bloke at the daughters graft, for the life i cant remember what it was called though.

The imported San Miguel in the 330ml cans is by far the best lager in the supermarkets. Enjoy it while it's around as these imported things don't tend to last that long.

German or Czech Lager for me. Though I'm more of a dark beer man.

Even the Belgians don't drink Stella!
