Steijn or Potter (managerial suggestion)

Whilst he might be a bit out of our reach I think people are slightly over playing how big he is in the world of management. Done well at Brighton then massively fucked up his big chance at Chelsea. Don't see a "big" club coming near him any time soon.
I reckon it's moreso the offers that he's had in recent times after Chelsea. Sweden are in line for him even now and he turned down the United job, so he's still attracting national and top league domestic management.

Yeah I feel like I'm missing something here too. Where is his next role? Because he bombed at Chelsea, and Brighton have gone up a level since he left.

He’s turned down Lyon, Sweden and Celtic I believe

He’ll be England manager when Southgate leaves after the Euro’s. That’s why he is turning jobs down IMO

Taking the SAFC job shouldn’t be a problem for him then as given our record he’d probably be sacked or walk by then due to becoming disillusioned with our summer transfer activity! 🤣

Graham, not Brian or Harry.
Could be a decent shout, cracking manager/coach imho.
Be on Garden Leave on thousands a week
Won’t come close

That probably coincides with his final wages from Chelsea anarl as the FA are as skint as the next man

Top top coach who will be waiting for the right job don’t think we will have any chance with the bloke will walk into a top job when the time is right for him
Shows how much Sunderland fans have been ground down and know their place, when implying that Sunderland isn't the right job. It is definitely the right job IMO for a manager with ambition, even allowing for the shit show that has been its recent past.
