spot on, be a shame if he does retire. Must obviously have major problems in his life atm and if it's health or family issues that has to come first.A classy player. I only wish we could have given him the send off he rightfully deserved.

Aye how we missed his no end product, lack of pace and shit shooting, would have made all the difference! Vastly overrated on here.
if we did get a fee for him where do we stand now regarding that.do we have to ive what was paid so far back ??
He would of held the ball on saturday and got others involved the long spells of possession swansea held against us before we hoofed it straight back at them was embarrassing .
I was always liked him but some people go a bit OTT about him. He was good but nothing more. For all the tricks and skill that he had he didn't do enough with it.
Best of luck to him though.

Shame that. He always gave 100% for us.
100% for 60 minutes is 60% in my book like
I've always said he was our best defender. He always tried to use the ball intelligently and consequently didn't hoof the ball straight back at the oppo. There's nowt in the current m/f that comes anywhere close to having Steed's skill & compoure on the ball. I'm still in mourning for his departure,
